Capital one forex opened its doors to trading in 2012. Its headquarter location seems to be unclear but they list offices in canada, mexico and japan as contact points. They are not regulated by any authorized regulatory body. Capital one forex offers traders forex, commodities and cfds.
Accounts
Capital one forex offers a choice of several trading accounts with differing minimum deposit requirements, spreads and minimum trade sizes. $100 is needed to open a micro account which has a spread of 0.60 and a minimum trade size of 0.01 lots.
The gold account requires a minimum deposit of $1000, has a spread of 0.4 pips and the minimum trade size is also 0.01 lots. With a $10,000 deposit, a trader can open a platinum account with a minimum trade size of 0.05 and a spread of 0.2 pips.
Capital one forex offers an islamic account which requires an opening balance of $500, has a spread of 0.06 pips and a minimum lot size of 0.10.
All the accounts have margin call level of 80%, can be used to trade on mobile devices, use STP/ECN processing and allow the use of eas for trading.
A demo account is available but no information about it is provided.
Features
Marketing at capital one forex is done by offering several partnering solutions such as money managers, introducing brokers, white label and private distribution partner (PDP) for those who cannot control who their referred traders are and who want to monetize on their website traffic.
Bonuses/promotions
Bonuses seem to be important at capital one forex and they are the first things one sees when opening the website.
A 150% trade bonus is given for minimum deposits of $250. This bonus is a tradable bonus, not a credit bonus but balance bonus. It can be used to trade with and support account positions and margin.
A 500% credit bonus will be given for a minimum deposit of $250. This bonus can be used as leverage only and the client can withdraw his deposit and the profits anytime the client wishes.
Another bonus is the $10 instant cash whereby a client can choose a "rebates account" and receive an instant rebate into their trading account. For every lot traded the client will receive $10. The rebate can be withdrawn at any time.
Education
Capital one forex offers a somewhat limited selection of educational tools. There are textual lessons on a variety of subjects and detailed explanations on the basic concepts and ideas in forex trading. Fundamental and technical analyses are explained in detail as a lesson but there is no real daily or weekly analysis posted on the site.
A clear spreads table is provided but no economic calendar of updated news reports.
Deposits/withdrawals
Deposits can be made using a variety of credit and debit cards, wire transfers and a host of online payment plans such as neteller, skrill, cashu and others. A maximum of $10,000 is required for each deposit. The minimum deposit varies from $50 to $500 depending on the funding method chosen.
Withdrawals are made using the same methods as the deposits. Maximum withdrawals are usually $10,000.
Both deposits and withdrawals can be done directly from the website.
Customer support
Traders can reach a customer support representative by telephone at any of the broker’s international offices. Email correspondence is also available. Skype and chat are offered when the website is opened.

Conclusion
Capital one forex offers traders an easy trading environment. Unfortunately, there seems to be quite a bit of information missing from the site and this is unsettling. The place of domicile is not posted, and there is nothing on the site to make one feel like any information that is present is updated as there are no news reports, no analysis of any kind and no economic calendar.

SCAM CONFIRMATION
2013-10-04: multiple people have been leaving reviews and immediately writing in asking the FPA to approve the reviews. We consider this to be an unlikely coincidence. It appears that someone at capitaloneforex is instructing people to send these messages. Reviews may take up to 5 business days to pass through the review moderation queue. The amount of time wasted answering emails like this from people who don't read THIS LINK on the contact us link slows down the entire review moderation process. Samir thinks he can do this to push negative reviews off the page faster.

This broker is very picky about the documents while usually without any reason to. Several times you send them the same documents in response to the swine attitude on the part of the staff of no desire to help a client with money that they receive a salary. In the quotes, there are differences especially in periods of strong volatility, moreover, in the direction of draining customers' feet. You are not allowed to make a normal deposit finding fault with everything, as a result you have a scanty deposit which, in principle, cannot but merge sooner or later. Good afternoon. Do not mess with this broker. Without giving an explanation, my trading account, as well as account on their website, has been blocked. Nobody has contacted me to explain what the problem was. Attempted to contact their support, but they didn't respond! A huge spread, a lot of restrictions - all aimed at something to take your money.
COF trully can be called the broker. They dont trade against the client. I really do not worry about the stability of my earnings. Spreads places zero, and a small commission makes scalping one of the most profitable strategies.

I am a capitaloneforex trader since september 2013. The company is detinuing me over 50000 EUR. After recently viewing their webpage full of high-blown limelight, I decided to post my view of thiese THIEFS who operate using fraudulent and manipulative pracpractice including:
– deleting (terminating) accounts
– shifting of opening prices
– detinue of profits
– trade disabling
– withdraw blocking
– inabillity of keeping their promises in responding to customers
– fallingshort in solving issues as promissed
For over 5 months I am trying to get my issue resolved – isn’t that long enough? All I am getting is the unfulfilled promises by manager makcim salakhav with a wide smile.
I hope it will help new potential traders to make up their minds. Please, view the aforementioned issues in further in-depth explications.

Explication I: trade disabling, account deleting
In september 2013, I opened my account 56617 investing 10000 EUR and receiving a 7000 EUR bonus. After a month of good trading AUDUSD, capitaloneforex disabled my trading as shown in the graph below:

I was told that suddenly they found out that no money has arrived from my slovak bank. Funny enough, they asked me for the same prove 3 weeks before and already back then have found out the money did in-fact arrived troublefree as arranged in the first place.
The next day, however, my ACCOUNT WAS UNACCESSIBLE, the PASSWORD WAS CHANGED and ALL TRADING HISTORY WAS DELETED.
Explication II: detinuing profits, shifting of opening prices, empty promises
Capitaloneforex owes me more than 50 000 EUR.
I was promised that all my opened positions are secured and all will be put back in order as soon as the deposit is confirmed by their bank. In the next day or so, my account received the deposit and bonus. Those opened positions of 75k EUR did not ARRIVED.
After months of promises 25k were added but CAN NOT BE WITHDRAWED… 50k still MISSING.
Further successful trading took place, producing profits… none of which can be withdrawed. Every AUDUSD trading included a shifting opening price such as here:

Explication III: withdraw blocking, empty promises
I can’t withdraw a single penny as manager makcim salakhav fakes-off some imaginary conditions (specially for me) wich he’s going to send “tomorrow”. To date, this is two months. Everything is “tomorrow” which in-fact means NEVER. None of it has ever happened.
It’s simply absurd and ridiculous beyond imaginary that a broker like this calls himself ECN and all he does is lying, poaching, manipulating, giving endless empty promices and laughing right to your face.
After a long wait, more traders having similar problems like me poped out. Some of us met on seminars and got in touch. I know of at least one with a very similar experience (60000 EUR). We’ll use any possible ways to stop brokers like this to keep operating in such a criminal way. Sharing this experinece with others is just the beginning.

Yesterday i open a trade this account EUR/JPY 134.40 this place and my take profit is 134.35 market go down 134.28 they don’t close my trade with take profit they are close my trade lose when i knock there they are give a calculation and i accept this but when i made a profit this rest amount 58$ and send withdraw they are send me this profit amount but when i made another profit 39$ this time they don’t send this and also tell me i have to pay there balance after they send this but before withdraw they don’t tell this.They are 100% scam or cheater broker don’t business with them .If you guys don’t believe me here i give my account number and investor password:-

Ok got email stating had to post about company to receive no deposit bonus. OK will do. BUT something not quite right about that so company is on my probation list for one full year until they prove that allegations against them are just more internet attacks. JUST that company is blacklisted on forex peace army I will give them an opportunity and will update as I trade..This could take quite some time as I have no intentions of depositing my money with a blacklisted company as they could be closed at any time

COF trully can be called the broker. They dont trade against the client. I really do not worry about the stability of my earnings. Spreads places zero, and a small commission makes scalping one of the most profitable strategies.
